On a seemingly ordinary day in London, two friends sat down for their usual catch-up and found themselves at a crossroads that would alter the rest of their lives.

Halfway through the coffee, one of us peeled back a sleeve to reveal a mysterious rash. The culprit? A drugstore body wash. Determined to find a better alternative, we set off on a quest for a body wash to replace the offender. A journey through countless aisles only led to confusion. Ingredient lists read like cryptic codes. Bottles blurred into one. Nothing truly stood out.

CUT TO — THE BODY WASH IDENTITY CRISIS

It was out of this frustration that inspiration struck. The body wash market, we realised, was in dire need of a revolution. We couldn’t remember the last time we’d been genuinely excited about buying a body wash — and we most definitely weren’t alone. The category was flooded with uninspiring options that overlooked the true significance of showers in people’s daily lives.

Showers are transformative rituals that carry us from one phase of the day to another — and have the power to reshape even our most persistent moods.

Here, in our solitude, we find victory in arguments long past, solve life’s intricate puzzles, release tears held in for too long, or sing with unexpected abandon. These are the moments most products forget. We couldn’t.
